Our Story

It all began in 1998, when four young men felt the need to have an authentic Yakitori restaurant in the country. Opening its first restaurant in the old Pearl Plaza area. The restaurant opened to excellent reviews especially to the well-travelled who had been searching for a taste of good Yakitori in the country. Enter 2001, when The Podium Mall opened its doors to public, this is where the current restaurant has called its home for over 20 years. We own the distinction of having the longest tenure of all restaurants in The Podium Mall having opened on Day 1 of the old site and remaining open to this day in “The New Podium Mall.”

After more than 25 years in the business, we continue to be committed to offering Japanese comfort food at affordable prices while using high quality ingredients.
